Questions about my rainbow thread are also at the top of the list! I use a variegated cotton quilting thread. It's a little less expensive if you get polyester, but I really like how the cotton lays better.

This little shop is a wonderful source of vintage linens and chenille scraps! She offers fat quarters, squares and little bundles of scraps at very affordable prices and the small pieces are just the right size for junk journals!
This is my favorite place to buy the sari silk ribbon that I use in my journals and on tags and mini books. She has a wonderful variety of colors and even some polka dot patterns!
This is one of my favorite shops for embroidery patterns. She has so many beautiful patterns with bible verses. She also has DIY kits for beginners that include everything you need to complete the project!
Renee hand-crochets the edges of vintage greeting cards, playing cards and other ephemera to create pretty bookmarks! I love adding these to my junk journals and planners!
Another sweet friend, Brenda, has a beautiful shop filled with vintage ephemera. So much good stuff, be prepared to stay awhile!
My friend Cindy is a talented mixed-media artist and her shop is filled with vintage goodies perfect for your junk journals including vintage sheets, wallpaper, fabric and more! She also sells her beautiful, artwork!
I was so excited to discover this shop that offers vintage typewriter ribbon refills in COLORS! They have pink(!), blue, green, red, brown as well as the traditional black.
I purchased one of my favorite journal books from this shop. She carries vintage feed sack material, ledger pages, quilt toppers, old book covers, vintage wallpaper scraps and more! A definite must-see!

I love this gorgeous seam binding ribbon so much. It's perfectly crinkled and comes in exquisite colors! The turquoise (Sea Mist) is one of my favorites!
